New Sonata Offers Seven Special Trim Packages

The company slogan for the 2018 Hyundai Sonata is “Make every mile a little better.” With seven different trim levels offering a wide variety of prices and standard features, the new Sonata is the affordable sedan that can make your daily miles much better. The 2018 Sonata is available now for inspection and a test drive at Chapman Hyundai Scottsdale.

SE, ECO Priced for Budget Sensitive

With starting sticker prices just above $22,000, the new Hyundai Sonata SE and Eco trim packages offer a roomy sedan with great gas mileage and a stylish look. Even these value-priced models come with automatic headlights, daytime running lamps and dual fold-away power body color side mirrors. Power door locks and power windows are also standard, as are steering wheel mounted audio and cruise controls. An AM/FM/MP3 audio system with Bluetooth connectivity operated via a 7-inch color touchscreen is all part of the base prices. These two models also come with USB and auxiliary input jacks. The SE is powered by a 2.4L 4-cylinder engine that earns a rating of 36 mpg on the highway. Fuel mileage figures for the ECO have not yet been released, but with a twin-scroll turbo 1.6L 4-cylinder engine under the hood, you can expect near-hybrid numbers for a fraction of the initial cost of an electrified vehicle.

Sport and Limited Up the Ante

Choose the Sport model ($25,200 starting MSRP) or the Limited ($27,400) and the standard features start to mount. Both are powered by the same 185-horsepower engine that’s in the SE and get the same mileage numbers. The Sport adds a power tilt-and-slide sunroof to the equation, along with sport seats, a leather covered steering wheel and leather shift knob. The Limited includes leather seating surfaces and power front seats with memory, as well as LED headlights that lead the way around corners. If you like a little more horsepower, both the Sport and the Limited offer 2.0T versions that include a 245-horsepower turbocharged engine. The Sport 2.0T adds sport-tuned suspension and a more substantial brake system, while the Limited includes smart cruise control, a premium audio system and automatic braking.

Backed by Best Warranty

When you go and test drive the new Hyundai Sonata at Chapman Hyundai Scottsdale, don’t forget about the industry’s best long-term warranty. The entire Hyundai lineup offers a 5-year/60,000-mile bumper to bumper warranty that’s unparalleled among other automakers. This includes 5 years of roadside assistance and a 10-year/10,000-mile powertrain warranty. With a refreshed look on both the exterior and interior and the most head and leg room in its class, it’s time to consider a Sonata as your next vehicle.
